Originally, Come and TEX it! LLC (a.k.a. Lone Star Cannons) began as the Lone Star Cannons Athletic and Scholar Club, an organization designed to offer children the opportunity to excel in the areas of citizenship, school, and sports. This started in the Summer of 2014.

The logo was designed by Sam Cunningham with the history of the Come and Take it Cannon from Gonzales, Texas; the symbol that ignited the Texas revolution in 1835. 

It represented the spirit of loyalty and fierce protection for the Country of Texas. This was adopted and became the "Cannons-Honor" motto for the team and Cannons family.

The logo was used on football and baseball helmets, uniforms, shirts, caps, and other fan gear; including auto window stickers and magnets.

After feedback from others for requests to purchase decals, caps, and shirts; Come and TEX it! LLC was born.
